This will give participants an opportunity to take advantage of all the events and attractions that Salt Lake City has to offer.

What clothes should I bring with me?

Both mountain and valley snows are common with heavier weather prevalent at higher altitudes. Valley altitudes range from 4100 to 4400 feet while the mountains start at 6000 to 8000 feet and peak at around 11,000 to 12,000 feet. Warm winter clothing is recommended for attending the 2002 Olympic Winter Games outdoor events, and for traveling around the mountain and valley areas. Casual, comfortable clothing should be worn in the heated indoor venues.
