Event Ticket Policies of the Salt Lake Organizing committee for the Olympic Games (SLOC)
  • Each person, regardless of age, must have a ticket for admission to an event at a Venue.
  • Children less than 2 years of age require an entrance ticket in order to be allowed entrance to a venue without purchasing an event ticket. Please be aware you will be required to show child’s proof of age. As a part of filling out your Olympic Package Order Form, you will be required to provide the names and ages of everyone in your party. Further information regarding acquiring entrance tickets for children under 2 years of age will be distributed to applicable guests.
  • Olympic tickets are valuable and should be treated like money. Ticket holders are solely responsible for safeguarding their tickets.
  • Tickets that are lost, stolen, forgotten or destroyed cannot be replaced.
  • SLOC has no responsibility for tickets that were not purchased through SLOC or an authorized sales agent of a National Olympic Committee.
  • If a sports session is canceled or postponed after it has commenced, ticket holders will not have the right to exchange their ticket or receive a refund.
  • If a sports session is cancelled or postponed prior to commencement, ticket holders will have the right to exchange their ticket for a ticket to any subsequent sport or cultural session, on a dollar-for-dollar basis, subject to availability. The exchange must take place in person and the original ticket must be surrendered at the time of exchange. No refunds will be allowed.
  • Tickets that are unreadable due to mutilation of any kind will not be accepted for admission.
  • Spectators in possession of tickets that have been reported as lost or stolen are subject to removal from the venue and/or prosecution.

Accessibility to persons with disabilities

  • SLOC does not discriminate on the basis of disability and will, subject to availability, make seating accommodations for individuals with disabilities in accordance with Utah and federal law. Please specify your or your guest's need for this type of seating on your order form.
