Upgrade of DB2 AIX instance(s) iepmqi1 on server(s) fssdas052 to DB2 V9 FP4A

Shut down of DB2 instance(s) iepmqi1 on server(s) fssdas052 
has been scheduled for 8.00 on Tuesday, 27 May 2008 (all times are US central).

To be sure that you can start upgrade, please do this:

	you can tell if DB2 instance(s) iepmqi1 is(are) down by issuing this command on server(s) fssdas052 
		(on each of the servers, if more than one, once for each of the instances being upgraded)

		ps -aeo user,comm|grep db2sysc|grep -v root|grep [instance-name] |wc -l	 

	you can run this command 15 minutes after the scheduled shutdown time and later 

	if zero (0) comes back from the command above -  DB2 instance(s)  iepmqi1 is(are) down and you may proceed with upgrade
	if DB2 is not down by 20 minutes after the scheduled shutdown time - please contact your DBA  

	as soon as you determine that DB2 instance(s) iepmqi1 is(are) down, you can start the upgrade 

Command db2imigr has to be executed once for each of the instances  being upgraded  (iepmqi1)
